Licensed Psychologist Specializing in the Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders
Dr. Andrea Bieberich is committed to upholding the highest standards of professional practice and providing comprehensive, collaborative, and personalized care. She has many years of clinical experience and a valuable skill set in the evaluation and treatment of autism spectrum disorders throughout the lifespan.
Dr. Bieberich received her doctoral degree in Child Clinical Psychology at the University of Memphis. Her graduate program experiences included inpatient psychiatric work, multidisciplinary team assessment of developmental disorders, school consultation, and research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. During this time, she completed a longitudinal research study of emotional expression in autism, and authored a number of research articles on autism and childhood cancer.
She completed an APA-accredited Internship in Pediatric Psychology at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she gained valuable experience working with medically fragile children and those with developmental disabilities. Following her internship, she went on to complete a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Fraser Child and Family Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Bieberich then began work as a staff psychologist at Park Nicollet’s Alexander Center for Developmental Disabilities, where she enjoyed working with talented specialists on multidisciplinary teams, which included developmental and behavioral pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, and social workers.
Dr. Bieberich started her own practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007, and moved her practice to Austin, Texas in 2013. Additionally, in 2020, she received an E. Passport and an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) through PSYPACT, which that allows her to provide telehealth to clients in states that are part of PSYPACT.
